Transpower Posted March 9, 2015 at 01:23 PM Report Share Posted March 9, 2015 at 01:23 PM I don't think it good practice for the Executive Director to be on any committee. However, he should attend Executive Board or Executive Committee meetings. Remember: he is an administrator, not a "governor." See RONR (11th ed.), pp. 464-465. Richard Brown Posted March 9, 2015 at 01:27 PM Report Share Posted March 9, 2015 at 01:27 PM Should the person elected as Executive Director be appointed, assigned, or work on any committee as a regular committee member? As Chris Harrison said, that depends on the circumstances and is for your organization to decide. RONR does not address that issue one way or the other.
