Guest Jsmith Posted March 26, 2015 at 03:28 AM Report Share Posted March 26, 2015 at 03:28 AM If a committee has 9 people on it and 6 show up, they have met quorum. On a vote, if 2 member abstain, I know it is treated as a no, but it is also listed as it is not a vote and does not count as a vote.If that is the case and only 4 member of the 9 person committee vote, is it a valid vote... or since they only had 6 there, is it based on the 6 that were there? Dan Honemann Posted March 26, 2015 at 09:42 AM Report Share Posted March 26, 2015 at 09:42 AM The number of members who vote has absolutely nothing to do with the number of members who must be present in order to conduct business (the quorum).
