Chris Harrison Posted May 8, 2015 at 12:43 AM Report Share Posted May 8, 2015 at 12:43 AM RONR doesn't require it.
Bruce Lages Posted May 8, 2015 at 02:21 AM Report Share Posted May 8, 2015 at 02:21 AM I would add that if it's not in the bylaws, perhaps no one running for office has to submit a letter or resume. Do you have some rule addressing this that is not in the bylaws?

Josh Martin Posted May 8, 2015 at 03:15 AM Report Share Posted May 8, 2015 at 03:15 AM Is there any section in Robert's Rules that I can use as a reference for this Section 46 of RONR, "Nominations and Elections," starts on pg. 430. There is nothing in that section requiring anyone to submit a letter or resume.

Richard Brown Posted May 8, 2015 at 02:19 PM Report Share Posted May 8, 2015 at 02:19 PM Is there any section in Robert's Rules that I can use as a reference for thisWe can't give you a citation for something that does not exist. As Mr. Martin suggested, you can read the section in RONR on nominations and elections. There is nothing in there about submitting resumes or letters. If someone says it is required, ask that person to show you the rule.
