George Mervosh Posted October 28, 2015 at 08:30 PM Report Share Posted October 28, 2015 at 08:30 PM Even is your bi-laws doesnt state thet you can. And could you explain how Absent some specific prohibition in your rules, nominations may be re-opened by majority vote. So make the motion to do so, it requires a second, it is not debatable, and a majority vote adopts the motion.
Hieu H. Huynh Posted October 28, 2015 at 08:30 PM Report Share Posted October 28, 2015 at 08:30 PM Nominations from the floor could be made immediately before the elections. Also, members are free to write in the name of a candidate on the ballot.

Josh Martin Posted October 28, 2015 at 09:57 PM Report Share Posted October 28, 2015 at 09:57 PM We do not have a forum before eletionOkay, but is the election itself at a meeting? If so, the nominations may be reopened at that time.If the election is not at a meeting, and there will not be a meeting prior to the election, then it will not be possible to reopen nominations. Write-in votes are still in order unless prohibited by your bylaws.
