Chris Harrison Posted March 26, 2017 at 10:19 PM Report Share Posted March 26, 2017 at 10:19 PM Are you asking how the minutes are approved? If so see RONR pp. 473-475. If that wasn't your question can you please clarify?

Your question is not well-formed. -- It is improper to "accept minutes" under the preferred method of Robert's Rules of Order. **** It is like asking, "Who should run to first base if the goalie makes a touchdown." -- There is no "who" in such a question, as the action itself is irregular. If you can refine your question a bit, perhaps we can be of more help. Under the procedure recommended in RONR, when the minutes are up for approval (not acceptance), the chair asks if there are any corrections to the minutes. If there are none, or once all of the corrections have been made and there are no further corrections, the chair declares the minutes approved. The body does not actually vote on final approval, but votes only on the individual corrections.
