The Fessor Posted July 9, 2018 at 05:59 PM Report Share Posted July 9, 2018 at 05:59 PM I have scanned through my copy RR and can find only obscure instructions regarding the “adjournment” and “continuation” of a meeting that has gone over its allotted time. Can the non-addressed questions from an original meeting agenda that are addressed at a second meeting classify the second meeting as a “continuation”? If so, can the minutes from the combined meeting be provided at the next scheduled meeting?
George Mervosh Posted July 9, 2018 at 06:17 PM Report Share Posted July 9, 2018 at 06:17 PM See if §22. FIX THE TIME TO WHICH TO ADJOURN is what you're looking for. RONR (11th ed.), p. 242ff
The Fessor Posted July 9, 2018 at 08:17 PM Author Report Share Posted July 9, 2018 at 08:17 PM Thanks George....that’s the closest I could find too, but no mention of minutes....that the initial and continuation meetings have one combined minute, or not. George Mervosh Posted July 9, 2018 at 08:27 PM Report Share Posted July 9, 2018 at 08:27 PM Not. "An adjourned meeting of an ordinary society approves the minutes of the meeting that established the adjourned meeting; its own minutes are approved at the next adjourned or regular meeting, whichever occurs first. " RONR (11th ed.), p.
