AFS1970 Posted May 28, 2019 at 01:31 AM Report Share Posted May 28, 2019 at 01:31 AM Our May meeting is when we nominate officers. These nominations were done in a haphazard way with several irregularities. However for most of them, the results would likely be the same. No objection was raised in the May meeting. Is it too late to bring up this issue at the June meeting before the elections are held? There is also a strong chance that other errors will have occurred in between the May & June meeting. Chris Harrison Posted May 28, 2019 at 01:36 AM Report Share Posted May 28, 2019 at 01:36 AM Generally speaking any alleged violations of the rules need to be pointed out when they occur and it is too late to object later. However, see RONR p. 251 for exceptions to this rule.

Guest Zev Posted May 28, 2019 at 03:11 AM Report Share Posted May 28, 2019 at 03:11 AM Also, please indicate whether other nominations are allowed or prohibited by the bylaws before the June elections.
