Tomm Posted November 5, 2019 at 08:43 PM Report Share Posted November 5, 2019 at 08:43 PM Can a member of an organization who is in attendance at a Board Meeting, but not a member of the Board, make a "Point of Order" or "Parliamentary inquiry" or is that out of bounds because he/she is not a member of the assembly? No they cannot raise either of those things. " Any nonmembers allowed in the hall during a meeting, as guests of the organization, have no rights with reference to the proceedings (pp. 644–45)." RONR (11th ed.), p. 648 This applies to board meetings also. Only members of the board have any rights during a board meeting.
