How do you then handle a situation where the President has not included a board member for a board meeting?

The member should simply show up and participate as he sees fit.  The society may wish to consider disciplinary actions against the President for this type of action.

In addition to considering disciplinary action against the president, any official  decisions made at that meeting could be null  and void if not all board members were given proper notice.  That is the case regardless of the margin by which any motions were adopted. The meeting itself if invalid if not all members were given proper notice.

Edited to add:  You might take a look at this thread from 2012:  https://robertsrules.forumflash.com/topic/16887-lack-of-notice-for-a-meeting/
