I have seen this concept in organizations covering a large geographic area where the board and/or membership meetings are usually held in the main population centre (eg: Toronto for a provincial organization in Ontario). One organization required that a membership meeting be held outside of Toronto at least once every three years. To answer Guest Marilyn's question, I cannot say whether a Zoom meeting would satisfy the requirements of your bylaws. It depends on exactly what your bylaws say and their interpretation is up to your organization. BTW, do your bylaws authorize Zoom meetings? @Shmuel Gerber, has "Zoom meeting" become generic enough that an uppercase Z is no longer required?
