Since voting on notes would have no discernible effect, it could be considered dilatory, and therefore not in order. If there is actually something wrong with the notes, a member could seek to have it corrected, or simply point out the error. The formal decisions of a committee are embodied in its Report(s), which should be carefully considered by the committee and voted upon.
