Yes, I remember quite clearly.  With fear and trepidation, I have to agree with Mr. Gerber.  My reason is similar to the reason that an unqualified motion to adjourn is privileged--any assembly has the right not to continue sitting any longer than it deems advisable.  This is not just true of a convention.
