Guest Bill Carrothers Posted October 4, 2010 at 08:55 PM Report Share Posted October 4, 2010 at 08:55 PM Our current bylaws do not state nominations from the floor will be accepted for our general elections. The candidates are presented as a ballot to the general membership by the nominating committee chairman in the form of a motion. Does RONR require nominations from the floor be accepted at this time? Is there a specific requirement by the Chair to call for nominations from the floor or must it come in the form of a motion from the floor? The floor is open for nominations."
