Executive Session in the Minutes

Greetings RONR Forum!

A board has a meeting in which some issues are discussed in Executive Session. (There were no procedural issues with this.) The board voted to come out of Executive Session with a specific report (eg., "that members x, y, and z be appointed to the special committee).

What is the best way to show this in the minutes?

"The Boad went into ExecSess. At the conclusion of the ExecSess, the Board reported that it had adopted a motion that 'members ... ' "

Nothing secret revealed; obviously the appointments (or whatever) that were (presumably) discussed and made in ExecSess will have to become public knowledge sooner or later. So do it sooner.

Thanks--yes, the appointments are not "secret", just the background discussion. Perhaps I've said too much! :)
