Guest Susan Posted July 28, 2014 at 01:30 AM Report Share Posted July 28, 2014 at 01:30 AM If an employee is appointed as the recording secretary on a committee how does she get removed, is it a similar process as getting rid of a committee member, or is termination of employee adequate. Timothy Posted July 28, 2014 at 02:56 AM Report Share Posted July 28, 2014 at 02:56 AM Termination of employment does not automatically remove a person from an office they've been elected to. However, if it isn't an elected possible and the person who is hired for a certain job is automatically the recording secretary then they would cease to be when their employment is terminated. Gary c Tesser Posted July 28, 2014 at 10:44 AM Report Share Posted July 28, 2014 at 10:44 AM .... However, if it isn't an elected possible ... I think he means an elected position. Also, it probably does hold for an appointed position, also. Still, not bad.
Transpower Posted July 28, 2014 at 12:05 PM Report Share Posted July 28, 2014 at 12:05 PM The body that appointed her is the body that can de-appoint her. The body here is the committee. Apparently she was not elected for a specific term, which would complicate matters.
