Guest jerome Posted December 2, 2014 at 08:45 PM Report Share Posted December 2, 2014 at 08:45 PM Is it improper for a Finance Officer to make a motion to except his monthly finance report pending audit?
Richard Brown Posted December 2, 2014 at 08:52 PM Report Share Posted December 2, 2014 at 08:52 PM Assuming you mean "accept", rather than "except", yes. A treasurer's report should not be approved or even formally "accepted". It is "received" when made and, if in writing, should be filed. No motion to do anything with it is necessary or even appropriate.
