cjcsix6 Posted December 29, 2014 at 06:52 AM Report Share Posted December 29, 2014 at 06:52 AM one of our board members got upset with the rest of the board, stated that they could not work with liars, then walked out of the meeting. Can this be considered a resignation from the board?

Can this be considered a resignation from the board? In the future, the member should be called to order for violating decorum if he makes such comments, but no, I do not think the member's comments are clear enough be considered a resignation. Edgar Guest Posted December 29, 2014 at 07:38 PM Report Share Posted December 29, 2014 at 07:38 PM In the future, the member should be called to order for violating decorum if he makes such comments . . . Though he (they?) may have been halfway out the door by then. However I do think a motion to censure would be appropriate. Imagine his surprise when he sees it in the minutes when they come up for approval at the next meeting. And there's always the dread "Dos Equis" (i.e. Chapter XX).
