But no vote should be taken on the approval. If there is disagreement ovet a proposed correction, the propsoed correction is voted on. But once all corrections, if any, are made, the chair simply declares the minutes approved ("as submitted" or "as corrected,", whichever is applicable) without taking a vote. No. In the first place, it's not even correct to have a vote, unless you're voting on disputed corrections. And even then, there is no need to abstain.
