Membership List

Perhaps I'm paranoid, but I'd think privacy and security concerns would suggest not sending out such a list at all, particularly if the "sending" was via e-mail or the member list contained full contact information.

At the least, ask each member if he/she is willing to have their names spread around.

In a small club of under 10 members, can a membership list be sent to all club members on an annual basis without a majority vote?

Agreeing with Chris Harrison and JJ, I see nothing wrong with it. If a member does have a problem with it, he can voice his objection and the club can then determine how to deal with it. Personally, I have a problem with people who want to belong to an organization but don't want the other members to know how to get in touch with them. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.  At any rate, RONR has nothing to say about it.

I would note that some organizations require that some contact information be distributed.  If you are a member and don't like that, you can resign or not to join in the first place.

I am familiar with one group that does it.
