Standing Rules

How do you go about adding a list of Standing Rules (with things like time and place of meetings, or length and time of speakers, etc.) into the Bylaws? Do you make a Bylaw that states "The following are Standing Rules that can be amended or suspended with a majority vote" Then state the list of rules? Is there a specific way of doing it so that they're not confused with a Bylaw?

You don't incorporate StandRules into Bylaws at all or list them within the bylaws. Just print them with a separate heading.   Bind them, bylaws and S-rules, AND Special Rules of Order (if any), together to be sure folks get everything. Be sure to include the date(s) of adoption with the rules too.

Thanks. I can see where Standing Rules can significantly shorten a set of Bylaws....especially ours!

Yes, but in your first post, the time of the meeting would be a Standing Rule, and the length of speeches is a Special Rule of Order, so it would be wise to familiarize yourself with all of the details of both.  See RONR (11th ed.), pp. 15-18.
