jstackpo Posted October 26, 2019 at 10:35 AM Report Share Posted October 26, 2019 at 10:35 AM You shut down the organization. Or threaten to. Sometime that brings candidates out of the woodwork. But seriously folks... check the bylaws -- the current officers may stay in office while you beat the bushes.
Rob Elsman Posted October 26, 2019 at 12:31 PM Report Share Posted October 26, 2019 at 12:31 PM The election is held at the prescribed time. Blank ballots would be used for voters to write in their choices. The disadvantage to having no nominees is that multiple rounds of voting will likely be required for the elections to be completed. Just keep plugging at it until all the offices are filled. Your group will learn the hard way to have nominees at the next election. Bring your sleeping bag. You're going to need it. Chris Harrison Posted October 26, 2019 at 01:34 PM Report Share Posted October 26, 2019 at 01:34 PM Before handing out the blank ballots I would suggest you (re)open floor nominations. Hopefully there will be a few people nominated which will help give the members a better idea as to who is willing to serve (write-in votes are still permitted of course).
