Guest Kathe Posted April 25, 2024 at 04:05 PM Report Share Posted April 25, 2024 at 04:05 PM Is it appropriate for one member of a board to vendor meetings always alone without other members present or invited?
Joshua Katz Posted April 25, 2024 at 04:08 PM Report Share Posted April 25, 2024 at 04:08 PM Nothing in RONR speaks to this question. If there is an applicable open meeting law, it may have something to say. (Or not; they often only deal with actions by a quorum of the board.) If the organization is incorporated, other laws may apply.
Richard Brown Posted April 25, 2024 at 05:07 PM Report Share Posted April 25, 2024 at 05:07 PM Agreeing with Mr. Katz, nothing in RONR prohibits this one on one interaction.
