Guest Lou Posted June 12, 2012 at 02:09 AM Report Share Posted June 12, 2012 at 02:09 AM If when it is one's turn to vote, may they put off their vote until all others have voted? I seem to remember there is a procedure in the event one is not quite sure yet when it is their turn to vote to delay until the end.
Bruce Lages Posted June 12, 2012 at 03:36 AM Report Share Posted June 12, 2012 at 03:36 AM Only if the vote is taken as a roll call vote. See RONR, 11th ed. p 421, ll.7-8. And even then, you may not be the last to vote.
Gary Novosielski Posted June 12, 2012 at 04:35 PM Report Share Posted June 12, 2012 at 04:35 PM When called upon, the member may answer "Pass". At the end of the roll-call, the secretary would go back and call the names of all those who passed, or who did not answer when originally called.
