motion fails can you reenter executive session and vote again

If this is at the same meeting (session) where the first vote was taken, a member who voted on the prevailing side can move to Reconsider the motion, which (if seconded) would bring it back before the assembly as it was prior to the original vote.  At that point it could be debated further, amended, postponed, or the original decision could be reversed, or upheld.  See RONR 11th ed. §37.

But if, as is likely, the meeting is now over, refer to the other answers above.  Keep this rule in mind if it happens again.
