Chris Harrison Posted May 3, 2015 at 10:33 PM Report Share Posted May 3, 2015 at 10:33 PM Since there is no Article 6 Section 38 in RONR I am assuming you are referring to some customized rule of the organization so we won't be of much help here. What do you mean by "holding a meeting open to continue for a month to obtain signatures necessary for 2/3 of membership required to amend bylaws"? Could you provide more details? Gary Novosielski Posted May 4, 2015 at 04:32 PM Report Share Posted May 4, 2015 at 04:32 PM Article 6-section 38 does this apply to holding a meeting open to continue for a month to [obtain] signatures necessary for 2/3 of membership required to amend bylaws I doubt you're going to get a quorum of people together in the same room for a whole month. If you're talking about voting at a polling place, and keeping voting open for a month, it's going to depend on your bylaws, how the voting is to take place, and other factors. More information from you will yield better answers.
