Rob Elsman Posted May 8, 2019 at 08:12 AM Report Share Posted May 8, 2019 at 08:12 AM I am not Mr. Gerber—he is certainly capable of speaking for himself—but I do not find your topic "really stupid" at all. 🙂
jstackpo Posted May 8, 2019 at 11:49 AM Report Share Posted May 8, 2019 at 11:49 AM I'm not either, but it sure looks like the http://holstonpresbytery.org/ church doesn't understand the meaning of the copyright laws...
Tom Coronite Posted May 8, 2019 at 01:55 PM Report Share Posted May 8, 2019 at 01:55 PM It appears they’ve removed the file.
jstackpo Posted May 8, 2019 at 02:01 PM Report Share Posted May 8, 2019 at 02:01 PM Nope -- still there. D/Led (again) by clicking on the link in the original (Zev's) posting.
Greg Goodwiller, PRP Posted May 8, 2019 at 03:05 PM Report Share Posted May 8, 2019 at 03:05 PM I just communicated with my colleague in Holston who has assured me that it has now been removed.

Rob Elsman Posted May 8, 2019 at 03:32 PM Report Share Posted May 8, 2019 at 03:32 PM Perhaps, if Guest Zev comes along first, he would be so kind as to edit his post to remove the hyperlink and communicate with Mr. Gerber privately through the messaging system. 🙂
Guest Zev Posted May 8, 2019 at 03:43 PM Report Share Posted May 8, 2019 at 03:43 PM Mr. Zev as a guest cannot edit his posting or communicate with Mr. Gerber privately. Mr. Gerber, however, is free to do with Mr. Zev's posting as he sees fit.
Rob Elsman Posted May 8, 2019 at 03:47 PM Report Share Posted May 8, 2019 at 03:47 PM Thank you for letting me know. I will try to contact Mr. Gerber or Boss Lady on your behalf.

Adjust Zev, if you will join the Forum as a member, preferably using your real name as almost all of us who are serious about this do, you will not have that problem and you will gain a tremendous amount of respect for posting using your real name

Yes it is still there. The link works from my desktop, but not from my iPad. No idea why it's different on each device.
Benjamin Geiger Posted May 8, 2019 at 04:39 PM Report Share Posted May 8, 2019 at 04:39 PM A caching issue, perhaps? It comes up with a "Page Not Found" page here.

Rob Elsman Posted May 8, 2019 at 08:16 PM Report Share Posted May 8, 2019 at 08:16 PM I briefly looked at it, and it looked like a copy from the CD version. How someone hacked the CD and lifted off a copy, I couldn't begin to tell you; however, the discovery is a heads-up about issues of cyber security. jstackpo Posted May 8, 2019 at 08:19 PM Report Share Posted May 8, 2019 at 08:19 PM It looks to be a PDF of what is on the American Legal Publishing Corporation's CD, all 494 pages. Mr. (Ms.?) Reelsman types faster than I do, too.)
jstackpo Posted May 8, 2019 at 08:36 PM Report Share Posted May 8, 2019 at 08:36 PM Moar investigating... My desktop Mac maintains a history of all webpages recently looked at, including the one in question, which can be clicked on to jump to it. The webpage is still functioning and the PDF is still downloadable, as of 4:30 EDST. It may, as someone suggested, be cashed somewhere, but I can't tell. Anything put on the Internet stays on the Internet for a mighty long time.
